Overview

Your teams already code with AI. Do your security and governance keep up?

AI coding assistants and agents write a growing share of production code. At the same time, the EU is tightening the rules: NIS2, the Cyber Resilience Act and the AI Act bring new obligations for software, documentation and incident reporting. Speed and compliance often pull in opposite directions.

AI Security shows you how to use AI in development without losing control. You work on your own use case and leave with concrete guardrails, a clear view of which rules apply to your product and a governance framework you can roll out.

Core principle: Speed with AI, security by design, compliance on record.

What you will be able to do

  1. Spot the risks of AI-generated code. Recognise typical vulnerabilities, leaked secrets, unsafe dependencies and prompt injection against coding agents.

  2. Set up secure guardrails. Define reviews, tooling and policies that keep AI-assisted development fast and safe.

  3. Know which EU rules apply. Classify your product under NIS2, the Cyber Resilience Act and the AI Act and derive the obligations that follow.

  4. Build AI governance that works. Establish roles, documentation and an AI usage policy that hold up in audits and in day-to-day work.

Programme content

Module 01

Vibe coding without blind spots

Risks and attack patterns of AI-assisted development, from insecure code suggestions to compromised dependencies and manipulated coding agents.

“How do we let teams code with AI without shipping vulnerabilities nobody understands?”

Module 02

EU security regulation in practice

NIS2, the Cyber Resilience Act and DORA: who is affected, which obligations apply to products and organisations, and how to prepare.

“Which security obligations apply to our product, and what do we need to prove?”

Module 03

AI governance under the AI Act

Risk classes, roles as provider or deployer, AI literacy and documentation: a governance framework that fits your organisation.

“Are we a provider or a deployer, and what does that mean for our documentation?”

Further competencies

  1. Threat modelling for LLM applications and AI agents
  2. Secure prompt, tool and agent design
  3. Drafting an AI usage policy for development teams
  4. Incident and vulnerability reporting processes
  5. Due diligence for AI vendors and models

Is this programme for you?

This programme is for you if …

  • your teams use AI coding assistants or build AI features into your products
  • you are responsible for engineering, product, security or compliance in a tech company
  • you need to prepare your organisation for NIS2, the Cyber Resilience Act or the AI Act

It is not the right fit if …

  • you are looking for a general introduction to AI tools
  • you need individual legal advice on a specific case

Experience in software development, product management, IT security or compliance is helpful.
